Riot Games makes a game called Valorant, in which 2 teams face off to take each other down with precision gunplay. Riot tasked us with unveiling a new purchaseable cosmetic gun upgrade, Elderflame. The Elderflame gun line basically turns a player's firearms into living, breathing dragons that you reload by feeding them ammo. It's crazy, and it was incredibly fun to work on. We wanted the commercial to start off overflowing with mystery and even danger, finally to explode into the actual reveal. The excited feedback flowed in from players quickly, with over a million views on YouTube in just over 24 hours, and tons of coverage by games news outlets.

In another project for Valorant, Riot released a track to commemorate one year of the game being live. To accompany the bombastic track on YouTube, Riot hired geologiq to create a Visualizer for the piece. While not a full music video, a Visualizer offers up thematically cohesive imagery to reinforce the feeling of a song. We played with chopping and distorting different localizations of the word "WATCH" to give the video a club-like atmosphere.
