The holidays are a special time for geologiq. As our first Christmas project we were invited to help on, this one made us extremely jolly.
Our task on this project was to solve some tough visual problems in 3D. How do you make a shoe coagulate into a physical form from pixels on a phone? How do we make a ribbon transform objects to gifts in the blink of an eye?
:16 - Tons of considerations had to be balanced in this scene - How the ribbon moves, the physics of the boxes, making the ribbon animation easily editable in case notes from the client came back... the list goes on!
Christmas is a wonderful aesthetic to work within, as magic is everywhere during the season. Creating our version of magic for Dicks really stretched us to our technical limits. But that's exactly what gives us energy to find the right solution for any of our customers - the challenge of finding the right solution for you, regardless of how hard it's going to be. Anything you imagine can be created by geologiq and brought to life in vivid detail.
